Chelsea have identified their plan-B in in case they taste defeat in their pursuit of Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, report The Sun.
According to The Sun, Chelsea have agreed a £60M fee with Juventus to sign Sandro, which would be a new world-record fee for a defender. However, Paris Saint-Germain are said to be gearing up to hijack the deal.
The Sun believe that Antonio Conte has prepared a contingency plan, in case they miss out in the race to sign Sandro. The tabloid report that Chelsea have placed FC Porto left-back Alex Telles on their transfer wish-list as a back-up option.
Conte looks to have already made his move, as The Sun report that the Premier League champions have already tabled a £22M bid in negotiations to sign the Brazilian.
If The Sun are accurate in their report, and we have placed a bid in that region – it seems unlikely that we are feeling confident about signing Sandro.
