Chelsea may offer Juventus a player-plus-cash package in order to secure the signing of left-back Alex Sandro, according to Football Italia.
Football Italia report that Antonio Conte is desperate to add Sandro to his squad this summer, with Marcos Alonso currently being his only natural option on the left-side of his defence.
However, the Italian outlet believe that Chelsea’s £60M bid may not be enough to convince Juventus to part with the Brazil international, who is now considered one of the best players in his position anywhere on the planet.
As per Football Italia, Chelsea could offer £60M plus Cesar Azpilicueta in exchange for Sandro – which, to be frank, would be utterly nonsensical.
Azpilicueta is arguably the best defender in the Premier League, and parting with him for any reason would be outrageous. We should not follow up our title success by selling one of the key cogs in our winning machine.
