Chelsea’s interest in Alex Sandro has reportedly been reignited, with Juventus now more open to the idea of allowing him to leave.

Sandro was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge following Chelsea’s Premier League title triumph under Antonio Conte.

Marcos Alonso is highly-regarded among the Chelsea faithful, but few would deny that Sandro would be a direct upgrade on the Spaniard. He’s the more accomplished full-back.

Our pursuit of Sandro ended with us being left empty-handed, and Sandro remaining in Turin. However, this deal is not dead, or so the Italian press believe.

Tuttosport believe that Sandro has been unable to find a contract agreement with Juventus. The Serie A champions are now prepared to sell him, but won’t for less than €50M.

Both Chelsea and PSG are interested, per the report, but it’s unclear whether we will move forward with our interest, or spend that money elsewhere.
