Andrea Pirlo has been talking about the possibility of Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud joining Juventus this transfer window. (Football-Italia)
The report suggests the Italian boss has identified the striker as a potential target, and made no secret he would like to sign the Frenchman.
Pirlo was talking to Dazn (reported by Goal)
“He’d be handy! The window opens tomorrow, we already discussed with the club what we want to do and if there are any opportunities.”
“Maybe a striker that can rotate with our strikers.”
Giroud has been linked with a move away from Chelsea for some time, and has often found himself playing second fiddle to youngster Tammy Abraham in the Blues forward line this season.
It was only last month West Ham were rumoured to be interested in the striker, until he got a run of games in the side scoring some important goals in both the Premier League and in Europe. (Daily Mail)
