Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has made a big decision over his future, according to le10sport.
Batshuayi endured a frustrating debut campaign at Stamford Bridge. Diego Costa’s electric form left the Belgian’s avenue into the starting side firmly blocked.
However, despite his lack of game-time last term for the Blues, it does not look as though Batshuayi will push for a move away from the Premier League champions anytime soon.
As per le10sport, Batshuayi has rejected a summer move to Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahce.
le10sport believe that the 23-year-old was offered a considerable pay-rise to make the move across Europe, but he rejected it in favour of remaining at Chelsea.
Whether Batshuayi can force his way into the starting side next season, or will continue to provide quality in reserve, losing him would undoubtedly be weakening our squad.
If he is willing to stay put, it’s only good news from a Chelsea perspective.
