Rumours about transfers for several Chelsea players have been circulating, and in recent days it’s been Alejandro Garnacho’s name we’ve seen mentioned the most. Fabrizio Romano has just put out a Tweet with more detail about the winger’s situation.
The Italian transfer insider has just informed the world that Garnacho “could leave Chelsea,” and that Roma “took info about deal conditions” in the last few days.
Chelsea face big questions over Garnacho demands

The problem with Roma’s situation is the same as most clubs – Chelsea are “only open to a permanent move,” but Roma “won’t proceed at these conditions.”
Effectively, Chelsea are telling everyone they will only accept permanent moves, and presumably aren’t willing to accept much less than the £40m they paid a year ago.
Meanwhile the clubs who might be interested in Garnacho – Roma included – are not willing or able to pay that much. They’d take him on loan, maybe with an option to buy, but a permanent deal is out of the question.
It will be interesting to see whether the Blues soften their stance as the summer goes on if it becomes clear that nobody is buying. We’ve seen that in the past with the likes of Romelu Lukaku, and could see it again here.

Chelsea are very strongly considering a move for midfielder Alex Scott, according to our writer Simon Phillips.
Jesse Derry is expected to conclude a loan move to Sporting CP in the coming days – leaving Bayern Munich out in the cold.
