West Brom are favorites to beat Premier League champions Chelsea and Serie A giants Juventus to the signing of PSG midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to The Sun.
As per The Sun, Tony Pulis has agreed a deal with PSG to sign Kyrchowiak on a season-long loan as the Baggies manager looks to replace influential midfielder Darren Fletcher, who left West Brom for Stoke City this summer.
This news will come as a huge disappointment to Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who was hoping to sign Kyrchowiak after Nemanja Matic left the Blues for Manchester United earlier this month.
The Sun report that Leicester City were also interested in signing the 27-year-old as they prepare for life without Danny Drinkwater, who has today handed in a transfer request.
With just two days of the transfer window remaining, Chelsea are yet to make a midfield signing and will have to work quickly to get in a new face.
West Brom have now confirmed the deal.
