Chelsea drew level with Liverpool at Anfield through an unlikely source – Emerson Palmieri.
The Blues trailed after former striker Daniel Sturridge fired an overhead kick past the helpless of Willy Caballero. It looked as though we were set to crash out the EFL Cup. Emerson had other ideas.
With just 12 minutes left to play, he prodded home his first Chelsea goal into the empty goal to draw us level. Simon Mignolet could do nothing to prevent his one hitting the back of the net. GET IN!
