Manchester City have taken the lead over Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium through winger Raheem Sterling.

It had to be him, didn’t it? With Sterling being victim of alleged racial abuse during his visit to Stamford Bridge earlier in the season, the England international has now got one over on the offenders by firing home into the back of Kepa Arrizbalaga’s net.

City caught Chelsea fans’ favourite scapegoat Marcos Alonso sleeping off a quick free-kick and released Bernardo Silva down the right. His ball into the box rebounded and landed at the feet of Sterling, who made no mistake.
