Competition holders Chelsea took the lead during the first-half of their FA Cup fourth round clash with Sheffield Wednesday through Willian from the penalty spot.
Cesar Azpilicueta was fouled in the Sheffield Wednesday penalty area. Referee Andre Marriner pointed to the spot having consulted with his colleagues through the use of VAR. It was a stonewall penalty and rightly awarded. Willian stepped up, and didn’t miss.
