Alvaro Morata has all-but confirmed on his Instagram story that he will stay at Chelsea and fight next season.
Morata endured a difficult debut campaign as a Chelsea player, despite performing well during his opening period at the club.
The Spaniard battled with issues with both form and fitness and soon found himself out of the team, with Olivier Giroud stepping into a starting role.
Morata has been heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer, with some reports suggesting that he’s keen to push through his exit.
However, he has used Instagram as a platform to rubbish those reports and reaffirm his commitment to the cause at Stamford Bridge.
Morata posted the below photo on his Instagram story. If he’s willing to fight and give it all he’s got, we have no problem with him staying. Well in, Alvaro!
