Alvaro Morata reportedly wants to leave Chelsea this summer, but the Blues won’t let their club-record signing leave on the cheap.

Morata enjoyed a positive start to life as a Chelsea player, but it didn’t last long. The Spaniard’s form fast tailed off. He struggled with form and fitness in the second-half of the season, which saw his stock among the Chelsea faithful fall drastically.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a return to Italy, with both AC Milan and Juventus thought to be interested in signing him.

Milan have just been hit with FFP sanctions, so it seems unlikely they’ll invest heavily this summer, while Juve will likely only move for Morata if Gonzalo Higuain departs.

Morata may find himself stranded at Stamford Bridge, but that won’t stop him from pushing for the exit door. According to David Amoyal, Morata wants out.

David Amoyal believes that Chelsea will meet with Morata’s agent next week in order to discuss his potential exit. The Blues will reportedly demand a fee in the region of €65M-€70M.
