In-form Chelsea forward Willian has switched his focus quickly to the trip to Old Trafford on Sunday, Goal reports.
The Brazilian was electric in what was a great team performance by Chelsea. Willian scored a vital goal for his team on Tuesday night. However, Barcelona’s away goal put the Catalans in control of the tie with Lionel Messi scoring his first goal against us.
Willian is now intent on replicating Tuesday night’s performance for the clash with Manchester United, as Goal reports.
Goal quotes Willian after the Barcelona match saying:
“They are difficult games. It is totally different to play in the Premier League to the Champions League.
“I think we can stay at this level and we can go to Old Trafford on Sunday and play another great game.”
Many have been critical of the 29-year-old’s individual displays this season. It finally looks like Willian has turned a corner and we’re expecting the same level of ruthlessness from the winger for the game against United.
