David Luiz has returned to Chelsea training at the club’s Cobham training ground in an attempt to resolve the issues between himself and manager Antonio Conte, according to the London Evening Standard.

Luiz was axed for Chelsea’s vital clash with Manchester United last weekend, having been poor during the 3-0 defeat at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Andreas Christensen replaced the Brazilian in the starting lineup – and scarcely put a foot wrong.
Another Costa situation?
As per the London Evening Standard, Conte and Luiz fell out in September. The cracks in their relationship appear to have resurfaced, with the situation coming to a head and Luiz being omitted from the team.

If Christensen keeps playing the way he has recently, however, Luiz could find himself left out in the cold – and winter is coming.
