Maurizio Sarri has admitted that Chelsea have ‘problems’ following his side’s 3-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
The Blues were taken apart by their arch-rivals and subsequently suffered their first defeat of the season. It was an embarrassing game for anyone with any affiliation to Chelsea football club, but we have to learn from it.
The weaknesses within our squad were exposed for the world to see on the Wembley turf, but by the sound of things, Sarri saw this coming. He’s quoted by Goal reporter Nizaar Kinsella in wake of our defeat to Spurs.
Sarri: “We played very badly from the physical point of view, mentally, technically (especially first 25 minutes and tactically. We have lots of problems to solve. I knew it well before the match. It is clear for everybody and, I hope, for the players” #CFC #TOTCHE

Chelsea’s defence has looked incredibly shaky at times this term. Our defenders and midfielders haven’t worked in cohesion and opposition teams have been handed opportunities as a result.
Unfortunately for us, Tottenham were good enough to take advantage today. Sarri has a big task on his hand to plug the holes in our side. He may well not be able to do it without investment in January…
