Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has already lined-up a replacement for Antonio Conte as there has been contact with Luis Enrique, Spanish news outlet Don Balon reports.
It is understood that the Russian wants Conte gone as soon as the Blues Champions League campaign comes to an end.
If Chelsea were to be knocked out of Europe, it would be interesting to see whether an interim would come in till the end of the season.
As per Don Balon, the former Barcelona manager would reject any proposals from Arsenal if an offer from Chelsea came about.
Does Enrique fit the bill?
Despite his achievements of winning two La Liga titles and a Champions League crown, Barca is the only club the Spaniard has managed.
Enrique’s managerial style may not suit the Premier League and won’t have the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez to manage.
This makes me question whether Enrique would be the right man to be our new manager.
