We have an update to bring you on the Riyad Mahrez situation.
The Sun reported early on Thuesday that Chelsea were close to signing the Algerian international. He was reportedly given permission by his country to leave the training camp in order to sign and seal his deadline day transfer
Sky Sports then contradicted that news, claiming that Chelsea had made NO contact with Leicester over the possibility of signing Mahrez. It was all very bizarre.
beIN SPORTS have now provided an update. They claim that Chelsea have made a £45M bid for Mahrez and the transfer is expected to go through TONIGHT. See the below video.
