Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has been offered to Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.
Morata has had a tough time as a Chelsea player. Even during periods in which he has been finding the back of the net, few of us have been convinced that his form would last.
His most prolific season of his career came in La Liga with Real Madrid. His native country has proven to be a successful hunting ground for Morata, it would come as no surprise if he seeked a move back there to reignite his career.
We weren’t expecting this, however.

Álvaro MORATA, s’ha ofert al Barça. Hi ha hagut reunions per sondejar la situació, però l’opció per reforçar la davantera del Barça està sobre la taula.

For those who don’t speak Spanish, the report from RAC1 claims that Morata has been offered to Barcelona, of all clubs. Meetings are already thought to have been held to decipher whether the move is plausible.
Surely Barca aren’t silly enough to splash the cash on Morata after the struggles he’s faced at Stamford Bridge? He’s a decent enough player, but stick him next to Lionel Messi and it might be enough to convince the Argentine to finally depart.
