Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is refusing to deny rumours over a potential move to England, the Metro reports.
There was interest from Chelsea in the player in the summer but the Frenchman decided to stay put at the Scottish giants.
As per the Metro, the 20-year-old has also been linked with Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. Despite, adding that he’s a Celtic player for now, Dembele is open-minded in terms of his future.
Dembele is quoted by the Metro saying:
“I can say it [staying at Celtic] is part of the plan but the plan can change.”
Signing Dembele would secure Michy Batshuayi departure
If the agile forward were to move to Stamford Bridge in January, that would further increase the chances of Batshuayi leaving us.
The Belgian hasn’t managed to win Antonio Conte over. This was shown as he was left on the bench even in Alvaro Morata’s absence in the 3-1 win against Huddersfield on Tuesday.
It’s more likely to be a loan move out for the 24-year-old. However, things aren’t looking good for our striker.
Scoring 30 goals in all competitions last season, Dembele would be an adequate replacement.
