- Raheem Sterling linked with January move to Real Madrid.
- Eden Hazard has also been heavily linked with Real Madrid.
- REVEALED: Eden Hazard will earn this much if he signs new deal
Chelsea have been handed a boost in our efforts to keep hold of Eden Hazard, with Real Madrid reportedly turning their attentions elsewhere.
Hazard has been heavily linked with Real Madrid, as we’re sure you’ll be well aware of. He is the only player on the planet that Los Blancos could realistically attain that could fill the void that Cristiano Ronaldo left at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Or so we thought. The Express claim that Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling is also being lined up by Real Madrid. The European champions are thought to be considering making a move for the Englishman when the January window comes around.
If Real Madrid spent big on Sterling, it’s unlikely that they would also pursue Hazard. The move may well happen, too. Sterling also has less than 18 months left on his contract, Real Madrid have history of exploiting this kind of situation.
Sterling would be yet another Englishman looking for greener pastures abroad, while Hazard would be staying at the club where he is adored by everyone. Let’s make this happen, Florentino!
