Antonio Conte has revealed that he is growing ‘bored’ of bemoaning Chelsea’s inefficiencies in front of goal following the Blues’ 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Saturday.
It’s the same old story. Go 1-0 up, fail to take our chances and allow the opposition back into the game. The longer it takes for us to kill off our opponents, the more they grow in confidence. We’ve seen it time and time again this season, and it’s the reason why we will not be playing Champions League football next season.

Javier Hernandez, who always finds a way to score against Chelsea, was the latest to take advantage of our inadequacy in defence – but his goal wouldn’t have been such an issue if our attackers had been more clinical in front of goal.
We’re frustrated, as is Conte. Speaking after the game, Conte revealed that he is growing bored repeating himself about our lack of ruthlessness in front of goal. The Italian is quoted by Goal saying:
“I’m repeating this many times and I’m getting bored. You are listening always to the same – not clinical.”
