Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has spoken about the fitness of injured duo Victor Moses and N’Golo Kante, the Metro reports.
The pair have both been out with hamstring injuries for over a fortnight and have been sorely missed. However, Danny Drinkwater is ready for tomorrow’s game after featuring against Everton and Bournemouth last week.
When speaking in a pre-match press conference, Conte insists that Kante and Drinkwater is available for tomorrow’s match against Roma but Victor Moses is still out of action.
Conte is quoted by the Metro saying:
“We had three starters out, but we have recovered Drinkwater and Kante. Moses needs more time.”
This comes as much-needed good news, especially with Kante being back who is a crucial player for us. As per the Metro, Conte didn’t confirm whether or not Kante would start as he will talk to the player tomorrow.
The Italian has a dilemma ahead of him as to who will start in midfield for the Champions League match at the Stadio Olimpico. However, it’s great that we now have some options in the middle of the park.
