Chelsea will be without Victor Moses for their Community Shield clash with Arsenal on Sunday afternoon, report the FA.
The FA have confirmed on their official website that Moses, who was sent off in the FA Cup final for a second bookable offence, will serve his one-match suspension at Wembley.
On a positive note, it means that the Nigerian will be available for selection for the Premier League curtain raiser between Chelsea and Burnley on August 12th.
Conte has several options ahead of the game against the Gunners. New signing Antonio Rudiger featured at right-back during his time with AS Roma, but will likely be unfamiliar with a more advanced right-wing-back role.
Cesar Azpilicueta has played there several times during cup games for the Blues, and you would have to assume that it’s he who will fill in for Moses.
Moses’ absence highlights the lack of depth we have in that position, and thus Conte should look to recruit another, more natural option on the right-flank before the transfer window slams shut.
