There was a big moment for the careers of Tammy Abraham and Ruben Loftus-Cheek this afternoon as they will both feature in England’s squad for the upcoming international break.
After impressive seasons so far, Abraham on loan at Swansea and Loftus-Cheek on loan at Crystal Palace, have caught the eye of national manager Gareth Southgate.
Abraham has been the talisman for the south Wales side, scoring five goals so far this season. Loftus-Cheek has been the spark in what’s been a horrendous season so far for Palace. Despite just having the one assist to his name this season, the midfielder has shown great energy and professionalism.

Blues captain Gary Cahill has also joined the young duo in the squad.
England’s upcoming matches are against Germany and Brazil respectively, with both matches being played at Wembley.
This gives Abraham and Loftus-Cheek a fantastic chance to propel themselves to new heights. Playing against two of the best national teams in the world will be a great experience for the pair.
The international break starts next week with the games on the 10th and 14th November.
