Thibaut Courtois has fired a blatant dig at manager Antonio Conte following Chelsea’s defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Premier League champions were in control of the game for the entirety of the first-half, and much of the second, but threw away their one-goal advantage and ended up losing following a header from Jesee Lingard with 15 minutes to play.

We now have a real fight on our hands for Champions League qualification. Manchester City have all-but sealed their spot in the top four, Man United are in a strong position, while Chelsea face a scrap with Tottenham and Liverpool for the final two places.
The game against United provided us with a real opportunity to strengthen our grip on the top four – but we threw it away. Courtois is not happy about it.

“I have no explanation for the sub of Hazard. I had not expected him to take him off but it is a choice of the manager. He must explain. I can’t look into his head.”
“Players like Eden should have 90 minutes on the pitch. He can always bring something extra offensive.”
Courtois is asking for trouble publicly criticising his manager in this manner. Things only appear to be getting worse at Stamford Bridge.
