Eden Hazard has picked his dream five-a-side team, and there are few very surprises as to who the Belgian chose.
Between the sticks in Hazard’s five-a-side team, as reported by the Daily Star, is compatriot and teammate Thibaut Courtois. Courtois is widely considered one of the best goalkeepers on the planet, and it comes as no surprise that Hazard has picked him having played alongside him both on a club and international level.
Moving onto defence, the Daily Star report that Hazard picked his father, Thierry Hazard, as the sole defender. He said during an interview with the Independent in 2012 that his family would make a great five-a-side team and he’s putting that into action now by choosing his father. Thierry played for Louviere in the Belgian third division many years ago.
In midfield, Hazard has picked himself alongside one of his idols, as the Daily Star note. The 26-year-old would lineup alongside footballing legend Zinedine Zidane in his five-a-side team.
This may come as a concern to some Chelsea fans, as Zidane is now manager of Real Madrid, who would undoubtedly love to have a player of Hazard’s quality at their disposal.
The chances of Hazard playing signing for Madrid is a quite slim but betting lads can look this one up as a way to make money from home, however, the mouth-watering prospect of the pair playing together is enough to put your mind at ease.
The Daily Star report that leading the line in Hazard’s dream five-a-side team is arguably the greatest footballer of all-time – Lionel Messi.
It’s often considered a toss-up between the Argentine and arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo, but it looks as though Hazard has now confirmed where his allegiances lie.
