Nemanja Matic has solved the mystery of what was said on a note given to him midway through Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United.
The former Chelsea midfielder revealed on Instagram that Jose Mourinho had given him three days off on the note.
Considering many thought it would be tactical order from the ex-Blues manager, it was only to tell the Serbian that he’d be given some rest for United’s next match.
Willian hilariously tried to track down Matic after receiving the note during the latter stages of the game at Old Trafford.
With 15 minutes for the Blues to get a result against United, Mourinho showed his composed attitude despite the pressure his team was facing at the time.
