Chelsea have been handed a major boost ahead of their trip to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
The Premier League champions have been in a difficult period of form. After back-to-back defeats at the hands of Manchester City and Crystal Palace, and a 3-3 draw to AS Roma at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League, Antonio Conte’s side desperately needed three points against Watford last weekend.
After falling 2-1 down, things were looking bleak, but the team rallied and secured the victory. However, the absence of N’Golo Kante was clear to see, our midfield looked weak and flimsy. Kante’s energy and nose for danger is what saw him win the PFA, FWA and PL player of the year awards last term, and we’ve missed him.
Here’s some good news – as reported by the Daily Mail, Kante is back in training with the squad as they prepare for their trip to the Vitality Stadium. This is the best piece of news we could have possibly asked for as we look to close the gap with league leaders Manchester City.
