Michy Batshuayi appears to be attracting plenty of interest, despite a so-so debut season in a Chelsea shirt.
According to The Sun, Ligue 1 champions AS Monaco have joined the race to sign the Belgium international this summer.
Batshuayi found the back of the net on 17 occasions in France’s top tier last campaign, and he appears to have left an impression on Monaco, who he scored against in both of his appearances against them in his final season at Marseille.
The Sun report that Batshuayi is keen on a return to France, where he spent two years before making the switch to Stamford Bridge – and Monaco are leading the race to grant him his wish.
Monaco are not alone in their interest of the 23-year-old, however, The Sun note that Chelsea’s London rivals West Ham are also keen to draft him in during the summer transfer window. It looks as though Batshuayi’s time as a Chelsea player could be coming to an end.
