Chelsea have not given up in their pursuit of Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, according to Transfermarketweb.
As per Transfermarketweb, the Premier League champions were extremely keen on acquiring the Brazilian during the summer transfer window. However, we failed to lure him away from the Serie A heavyweights and subsequently Antonio Conte has just Marcos Alonso at his disposal at left-wing-back.
The Italian has reportedly not given up hope of landing Sandro in the future, however. Transfermarketweb claim that Chelsea will re-enter the race to sign him, although Juventus are unlikely to entertain any offers in the winter transfer window.
The Blues are not alone with their interest in Sandro, though. It is mentioned in the report that Manchester City are also keen and will provide their Premier League counterparts with stern competition.
Transfermarketweb believe that bidding could start in the region of €60M. It remains to be seen whether that’s a price Juventus would be willing to sell for.
