Diego Costa’s agent Jorge Menes is in talks with AC Milan about a possible transfer of the Spanish striker from Chelsea, according to  Gazzetta dello Sport.

Although the hot-headed striker had been tipped for a return to his former club Atlético Madrid in the Guardian earlier this summer, Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport report that Costa’s agent has been in touch with the Milan club over the possible transfer of the 28-year-old.

The Italian media outlet report that Costa is just one of Mendes’ players that is being offered to AC Milan with the others believed to include former Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao and Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanches.

As per the BBC, Costa announced to the press that he had been given the task of finding a new club after Chelsea boss Antonio Conte informed the striker that he did not feature in his plans for the new season. Only time will tell if he will be playing his football at the San Siro next term.
