The tweet translates to Totti asking Dzeko:
“Is this train going to London?”
As per The Telegraph, Chelsea are hoping to make progress on a deal to bring Dzeko and Roma teammate Emerson Palmieri to Stamford Bridge.
The newspaper reports that whilst talks with Dzeko are less advanced, Chelsea are confident in signing Palmieri.
Dzeko the ideal striker for Chelsea
Antonio Conte’s desperation to sign a physical striker this month couldn’t be more evident.
The Blues being linked with Premier League striker’s Andy Carroll and Peter Crouch. Obviously, Dzeko would fit the profile of a Chelsea talisman far more than the English pair.
Perhaps the only negative in signing Dzeko is his unavailability in Champions League games due to being cup-tied.
However, the former-Manchester City striker can really give Conte and his team a new dimension leading the line with or without Alvaro Morata.
