Chelsea are set to cash-in on midfielder Mario Pasalic, according to The Sun.
As The Sun report, Pasalic was signed by the Blues in 2014 for a fee of £3M, but he has not made a single appearance in a Chelsea shirt. If the tabloid are to be believed, he may well leave Stamford Bridge having never done so.
The Sun believe that Galatasaray are interested in signing the Croatian, and have tabled a £2.2M bid. This would, as per The Sun, see Chelsea record an £800K loss. However, Pasalic’s route into Antonio Conte’s starting eleven is firmly blocked, and he is not going to play any sort of a role in the squad next season – and money we can raise from his sale would be a bonus.
Ultimately, it looks as though Pasalic will be another who arrived in West London with high expectations, and left with unfulfilled potential. Another one bites the dust.
