Manchester United appear to have made their move to sign Chelsea target Ivan Perisic.
Calciomercato cite La Gazzetta dello Sport in reporting that United have offered Inter Milan £50.8million in exchange for the Croatian mastermind. The Italian outlet believe that Jose Mourinho has already been in Perisic’s home country to discuss the possibility of the 28-year-old moving to Old Trafford this summer.
News of Man United’s lucrative offer will likely come as a concern to Antonio Conte, as Calciomercato report that Chelsea are also in the running to sign Perisic. It remains to be seen whether Conte will match Man United’s offer in order to get his man.
It comes as no surprise that the interest in Perisic is intensifying as we approach the summer window. He has been directly involved in 15 goals in Serie A this season, having found the back of the net ten times and provided five assists for his teammates.
If Calciomercato are to be believed, Chelsea need to act fast, or risk missing out on one of Conte’s summer targets.
