Napoli are open to listening to offers for Chelsea target Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, according to Il Mattino.
Calciomercato translate Il Mattino’s report, and it may well offer Antonio Conte plenty of encouragement as we approach the summer transfer window.
Il Mattino believe that Chelsea remain interested in signing Koulibaly, having missed out last summer. The Italian outlet believe that Napoli would listen to offers in the region of £48.3million, which is what the Blues offered in exchange for his services last summer.
There doesn’t appear to be any dire need for defensive reinforcements in Conte’s back-line. The trio of Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill have been formidable this season – but Conte will likely not rest on his laurels this summer, despite the pending title victory.
The prospect of having Koulibaly on top of Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill, Kurt Zouma and Nathan Ake is mouthwatering. Only time will tell if it materialises.
