Chelsea’s resolve in keeping star player Eden Hazard may be about to come to an end.
As per The Sun, Real Madrid have stepped up their interest in signing the Belgian as they will offer a mega £120m fee for the player.
The 26-year-old has just two years left on his current contract at the Champions as terms for an extension have yet to be agreed.
It would come as a huge surprise if Chelsea were to sell quite frankly our most prized asset. The forward has contributed with eight goals and eight assists for his team this season.
However, manager of the European champions Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer of Hazard. As per The Sun, Real also believe the dilemma of Hazard yet to sign an improved deal at Chelsea can boost their efforts in agreeing a deal with the English champions.
Chelsea unlikely to sell Hazard in January

It would be a massive risk for the Blues to sell Hazard in arguably the most important month of the football season.
Just because the player doesn’t want to sign a contract right now doesn’t mean he’s bound to leave the club. If anything, Hazard from a player’s perspective is doing the right thing by laying his options on the table.
There’s still a great chance that an extension can be agreed with Hazard. Even though his deal expires in 2020, the opening offer from Real will most likely be rejected.
I personally agree with this and I am a fan of him but if he hates Chelsea, I will hate him too.
Selling Hazard now is a big mistake. Chelsea needs Hazard now until they can find a replacement
