Chelsea are interested in signing Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, according to the Mirror.
As per the Mirror, Perisic is a target for former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who is thought to be keen on taking him to Old Trafford this summer. However, the tabloid believe that Antonio Conte will provide his managerial counterpart with stern competition in the race to secure the Croatian’s services.
The Mirror claim that Inter Milan will demand an eye-watering £48M in exchange for Perisic, but in the modern day transfer market, that is the sort of price you would expect to be quoted for a player of his quality.
It is reported by the Mirror that Chelsea are also in negotiations to sign all three of Alex Sandro, Joao Cancelo and Danny Drinkwater, with moves for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ross Barkley also being considered.
If the Mirror are to be believed, we could be set for a very busy end to the transfer window.
