Roman Abramovich has been involved in an extraordinary act of kindness. This kind of stuff makes us proud to have him as our owner.
Abramovich changed the face of Chelsea football club, and football itself, having purchased the Blues in 2003. He took us to the next level and turned us into a footballing superpower. The Russian’s stewardship has helped us firmly cement our place at the summit of the football world.
We will be forever grateful for the positive impact that Abramovich has made during his time at Stamford Bridge, but there are also more important things that he could do with his vast wealth – and he has.

According to Times of Isreal, Abramovich has donated $20M towards building a new nuclear medical centre at the biggest hospital in Israel. The report claims that this takes the amount the Chelsea owner has donated to the Sheba Medical Center to a whopping $57M.
It’s thought that his latest donation will help patients receive more effective and personalised cancer treatment. Well done, Roman!
