Eden Hazard has insisted that talk over his future will not affect his performances for Chelsea on the field of play.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll be well aware that Hazard to Real Madrid is the hottest topic in European football right now. Will he sign for the club he’s always dreamed of playing for, or will he be extending his contract with Chelsea?
We haven’t given up on Hazard extending here. He’s recently revealed that a decision has been made on what he’s going to do in the summer, but there’s no evidence that suggests he will be handing in a transfer request anytime soon. Not yet, anyway.
Whether his decision is to stay or go, Hazard is adamant that it will have no bearing on his performances for Chelsea. Hazard is enjoying the best season of his career, and he is confident that it won’t be derailed by the continuous speculation.
#Hazard promises talk over his future won’t have negative impact on his #cfc form: “For now, the only thing to think about is playing well for Chelsea. My decision will be known soon, but it’s not something that affects my mind. When I’m in the field, I just want to play.”(RMC)

Let’s hope that he’s not saying this because he’s picturing himself holding up a Real Madrid shirt in the summertime, rather signing along the dotted line on his Chelsea contract extension. Fingers crossed we’ll know what his decision is in the coming weeks.
I’m so tired of this saga, can we please not have any more of it til the end of the season.
