I don’t even care whether it makes any different or not at this point, we simply HAVE to do our bit.
Whether you are a match-goer or not, it’s time to mount up and do your bit for Chelsea Football Club. Because Chelsea was here well before any owner, SD, manager, or player, and will be here well after them all too.
And we are all sitting here getting angry and upset week upon week, so quite simply, let’s at least try and do something about it.
I’m in a position now where I just want them all gone. Owners, SDs, and Liam Rosenior. Just go, I’ve had enough. They’re ruining my football club and I’m sick to death of it. Nothing is going to change no matter what they say. Unless the wage structure changes and they get real, nothing is going to change. The best players are not going to come to Chelsea under this project, the best managers are absolutely running in the opposite direction of this crap, and until you change the entire structure (ownership), then everything will stay the same. The soul has been ripped out of my football club from top to bottom, and everyone sees it.
Even if we did somehow manage to convince top players to come here, how long will they want to stay on this wage structure when they know they can go an earn better at clubs actually consistently competing at the very top with a good and experienced manager leading them? But it’s OK because we have them on long contracts, they are our prisoners, they can’t go anywhere! That’s fine, but do you want to keep having Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella situations season upon season? Because that’s going well, isn’t it?
These players are not buying into this inexperienced Mr Nice guy yes man manager you’ve got in from your sister club because it was easy to do and nobody else was coming here right now – it’s OBVIOUS to see that. But if you change yet another manager, that looks even worse on you, doesn’t it?
ZERO experience from top to bottom at this club. Young players might push through, some might show promise. But when you’ve recruited people with slim experience across the board, and you have ZERO experience running a football club yourselves and bring in yet another a tin pot manager with no leadership, then what do you expect to happen? You’ve spent almost £2 BILLION doing this as well. It’s actually criminal.
So, please people, do your bit. Whether that’s posting it all on your socials, having a voice on Podcasts, or physically going to the protests next Saturday ahead of the Manchester United game. Please, just go and do what you can. It’s all we have the power to do, so let’s just do it, whether it forces changes or not (it wont).
I can’t be at the game next weekend, but this is the start of me advertising the protests and calling for support for them. I mean, even Joe Cole is advertising them!! Incredible.
