Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham opened the scoring for Aston Villa during their crucial Championship fixture with second-place Leeds United.
Abraham has been on fire recently. He’s scored nine goals in eight league appearances since the start of November. No player in any of England’s four divisions boasts a better record than that.
If Chelsea weren’t already convinced that he has the potential to be a starter in attack at some point in the future, they’ll surely be beginning to realise when witnessing his performances of late.
His latest strike, against Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds, was quite brilliant. Abraham was involved in the build-up, before making his way into the penalty area and finding the net with a sublime finish.

Chelsea don’t have the best record when it comes to integrating academy products into the first-team, but Abraham’s talent is impossible to ignore.
And for those of you who don’t think he’s ready to start ahead of Alvaro Morata or Olivier Giroud, well…
Tammy Abraham has now scored more goals (13) across all competitions this season than Álvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud combined (12).
