Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey has dented Chelsea’s chances of signing the player in the summer, Bild reports via Metro.
The hot-property winger is wanted by not just Chelsea but also rivals Arsenal and Manchester United.

As per Metro, Leverkusen is demanding £100m for the Jamaican to leave the club in the summer.
Not only is this ridiculous transfer sum a stumbling block for Chelsea but when speaking to Bild, Bailey himself doesn’t appear to be interested leaving the Bundesliga side for now.
Bild quotes Bailey saying:
“I want to develop and then I can take the next step. ‘When I move to a big club, the people there will want to know me.”
Despite the talented winger having a fantastic season, with 11 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions, Bailey is simply not worth the money Leverkusen values him at.
If the 20-year-old continues to develop next season then that’s when Chelsea would be prepared to splash the cash on him.
