Arsenal defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley to win the FA Cup.
Arsenal took the lead with a controversial Alexis Sanchez goal. The Chilean appeared to mistake Wembley for a basketball court, as he punched the ball into the Chelsea penalty area. Sanchez followed up his handball and slotted the ball past Thibaut Courtois and into the back of the net.

A moment of madness from Victor Moses saw him be sent for an early bath. Moses, who was already on a yellow card, was shown another for blatant simulation and was given his marching orders. In such a big game, with his team up against it, it was utterly stupid.

Diego Costa, as he often does, stepped up to help Chelsea in a time of need. The Spaniard brought down Willian’s lofted ball excellently and his effort deflected off of Per Mertesacker before nestling in David Ospina’s bottom corner. Click here to see Costa’s 22nd goal of the season.

However, while Chelsea were still celebrating, Arsenal struck again. Olivier Giroud chipped the ball into the middle of the penalty area, and Aaron Ramsey was there to head it into the back of the net.
