Chelsea have been handed a major boost ahead of our Champions League second-leg clash with Barcelona.
Think back to the heartbreak of 2009. Forget the incompetent refereeing and chaos that ensued, the reason that we were eliminated from the competition was because of a stunning goal from Andres Iniesta.
It doesn’t look as though we’ll have to worry about history repeating itself this time around, as Iniesta’s involvement in the second-leg is now in serious doubt.

Iniesta was withdrawn in the first-half of Barcelona’s La Liga title crunch match with Atletico Madrid with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.
The full extent of the injury is at this point unknown, but we imagine Barca fans will have trouble sleeping tonight knowing that the midfield maestro could be ruled out of the second-leg.
As much as we would never wish injury upon anyone, especially a player of Iniesta’s quality, having him watching from the sidelines would be the ideal situation from a Chelsea standpoint.
