One Chelsea player in particular has been singled out for criticism in the first-half of the Blues’ clash with Bournemouth this afternoon.
Maurizio Sarri is looking to avoid suffering the same fate as his predecessors by dropping points to the Cherries at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea sides led by Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte have fallen to defeat at home to Eddie Howe’s side over the past three-years.
After three wins in three leading up to this fixture, Chelsea fans were confident that we would be able to overcome today’s challenge, but the first-half hasn’t been straightforward.
Just like at St. James’, we’ve dominated possession but been unable to create any meaningful chances. Bournemouth have looked rather comfortable camped in their penalty area.
Some Chelsea fans on Twitter have also singled out Willian, who was brought in for Pedro for today’s game, as a reason why we have been unable to penetrate the visitor’s back-line.
Have a look at this. What do you think, Blues? Is this criticism justified?
Bring Pedro on for Willian already.

This club rejected 55 million for Willian man

I have never seen Willian name a forward pass to put a player in space, it’s always to a tight angle.
It’s as if he doesn’t want any player to excel

Willian doesn’t fit sarri ball

People only think Willian is good because of 180 minutes against Barcelona where he was probably playing for a move away.

Alonso is actually a better winger than Willian.

We should have swapped Willian for martial or sold him to Barca when we had the chance.
He’s only useless in a counter attacking system. That’s why mourinho is so keen on him. #NFFCShow

I’m sorry but your club does NOT deserve good things if u reject 62m for Willian. No other way to put it.

Me and Willian will fight one day

holy s..t.. id u watch the same game that i was watching?
Willian’s problem is that he doesn’t target any of his players in the box when making the crosses.
He just kicks the ball anyhow.
