Chelsea fans singled out Ross Barkley for criticism following his first-half performance against Crystal Palace.

Barkley was one of the best players in the Premier League throughout the month of October. He scored three goals and provided two assists for his teammates.

Barkley also forced his way back in the England squad. He was part of the Three Lions’ victory over Spain, which will go down in the country’s history. However, he’s not been at the races today.

The former Everton man will have been hoping to kick-on from his recent form, but he hasn’t been able to do so during the first-half against Palace.

He’s been unusually wasteful in possession – and Chelsea fans are not impressed. Many have taken to Twitter through the first-half to criticise Barkley, despite the fact that the Blues have the lead. Let’s hope he can put in a better performance during the second period.
