Chelsea’s first attempts in luring one of Real Madrid’s most prized talents have come to no avail.
With the likes of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois being rumoured targets for the La Liga side, a network of deals between the two clubs could happen this summer.
It’s the Blues that want to draw first blood on the 11-time Champions League winners with a lucrative £132m bid rejected for Marco Asensio, reports Don Balon via Daily Star.
The 22-year-old has grown a frustrated figure at the Santiago Bernabeu as he feels Real manager Zinedine Zidane hasn’t utilised him enough this season.

Despite Asensio not receiving full admiration from his coach, the most important man in the Spanish giants’ hierarchy in president Florentino Perez, has no interest in letting the attacking midfielder go.
This report from Don Balon suggests that Chelsea will have to blow our record transfer fee if Asensio is to be lured to Stamford Bridge.
Perhaps the only way of signing Asensio will be cashing in on Hazard’s value, which could pose a huge risk with the Belgian amongst the world’s best.
