Chelsea likely starting XI v Cardiff: Maurizio Sarri set to drop big-name

Chelsea host Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon, with Maurizio Sarri’s men hoping to continue their 100% start to the Premier League season.

The Blues are one of just three teams in the league who secured maximum points out of their opening four fixtures, and have been given a golden opportunity to make it five out of five in the shape of a home fixture against newly promoted Cardiff.

Neil Warnock led sides are notoriously difficult to break down, and Chelsea have taken their time piercing through low defensive blocks in the past few weeks. We can’t take this one for granted.

Sarri ought to consider who has and hasn’t produced for him in the opening weeks of the season while deciding on his starting eleven for this one.

Willian failed to take his chance against Bournemouth, while Alvaro Morata has endured a difficult start to the season.

Taking that into account, here’s how we expect the Blues to lineup for the game tomorrow:

Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta (c), Rudiger, David Luiz, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Pedro, Hazard, Giroud.
