Manchester United were not even close to contending for Champions League football a few weeks ago. They’re right in the mix now.
The Red Devils were a nationwide joke under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho. It was hard to stomach witnessing the demise of our greatest ever manager at Old Trafford, but no tears will be shed over United continually dropping points.
Mourinho has left and United are now being led by former forward Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – and they’re a different beast. They can’t stop scoring and they can’t stop winning, two things that Chelsea have struggled to do in recent weeks.
Maurizio Sarri’s men have struggled for consistency and have subsequently allowed United to gain considerable ground on them. This stat says it all about the polarising form of the two sides.

Chelsea need to seriously consider using the transfer market to reinvigorate the squad this month. Christian Pulisic will arrive in the summer, but it will already be too late to save our season by then!
They don’t need to spend big, they need to spend clever. Morata was big. Look how Liverpool made a great team with the right choices.
