Chelsea predicted lineup v BATE: Sarri set to make major changes with Loftus-Cheek to come in

Chelsea face BATE in the Europa League tomorrow night, and we’ve had a punt at predicting how the Blues will lineup for the fixture.

Eden Hazard will have probably been left on the bench even if fit, with Willian and Pedro occupying the two positions out wide. However, Maurizio Sarri has confirmed the Belgian will miss the game with a back problem he picked up against Manchester United.

As revealed in our full injury report ahead of the game, the only other player who is unavailable for selection is youngster Ethan Ampadu, who suffered an ankle injury while on international duty with Wales.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that Ruben Loftus-Cheek will get an opportunity from the beginning, though Sarri stopped short of confirming that he’ll start. Callum Hudson-Odoi will likely be named as a substitute in Hazard’s absence.

We believe that the starting eleven will look something like this. Do you agree, Blues?
